About Me
About Me
Prior to training as a psychotherapist I worked in a variety of mental health settings including supporting young carers and within LGBTQ+ youth initiatives.
I then completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy before continuing further training specialised in trauma, dissociation and the body.
As a queer person, I know how important sexual and gender identity and expression are to life, love and connection. I also know the challenges of living in a society that remains mostly heteronormative and binary. In my time as a therapist I have worked with many people through dialogue, challenging, humour and willingness, to explore more meaningful ways to live authentically.

I have travelled extensively worldwide and whilst learning from communities in Latin America, I gained an interest in plant medicines and the potential for them to help people gain new perspectives. My current work in clinical trials came as an attempt to understand how psycho-active substances could be made available to people outside of indigenous ceremonial settings.
